Decide a time limit for your work and once that limit is over, leave the office no matter what. This may not change things dramatically but it will definitely prove to be the first step towards a healthy lifestyle.
Hit the Gym
Regardless of how difficult and unnecessary this decision sounds at this point, you’ll thank yourself five or ten years down the line for joining a gym today. And don’t worry about your goal when you hit the gym. It’s not to build a huge muscle mass or fight the next WWE match, but to keep the adrenal flowing in your veins.
When you spend 60 minutes in the gym on a daily basis lifting some weights and running on the treadmill, you give your body the required energy boost to eliminate negative thoughts and improve your cardiovascular health. Regularize this routine and you will start noticing differences in 8-12 weeks.
Along with these two routine changes, you also need to stop eating anything and everything that crosses your eyes. Eat healthy as much as you can. If possible, have home-made food so you can keep track of your micro and macronutrients and minimize the intake of junk food.
This routine seems easy but it requires sheer determination and will power to stick to it for life. And if you can successfully do so, maintaining a healthy body along with a day job will never be a problem for you in the future.
